Meet Miss. Molly

Hi, my name is Molly and I am doing my student teaching as an intern at Jefferson Elementary School in West Allis, Wisconsin. I work in a split 4/5 classroom. I love working with this age group! Overall I love working with kids! I really love working with students with disabilities as well! Especially kids with Autism! It is so much fun! I was a line therapist with WEAP for 2 years while going to school and loved it! I personally believe that all students deserve the right to a safe and fair education no matter the disability, skin color, background etc. everyone deserves the right to be in a safe environment. Even if a student may be at a different point, or behind I believe everyone has the right to learn and be themselves! I also believe that having a disability is no big deal :) I think that everyone has some sort of disability, no one is perfect and everyone has some sort of struggle to overcome.  I learned having those struggles or bumps in the road only make us stronger :) I love learning and I love working with students and teaching them to have the same love for learning and taking those risks :) 

A little more about myself...........

I am the middle of 5 children. I was raised in a house where respect was big and very important. Education was extremely important. My parents were very supportive and always pushed the idea of working hard and reaching for all of our goals! I am so grateful and truly blessed to have such a wonderful and supportive family! I truly have no idea where I would be without them. 

This is me on the far left, my older brother Joey, my sister in the middle is my younger sister Jenny and on the far right my younger sister Maggie. And of course our adorable dog Goose! :) 

I love animals, especially my fluffy adorable White Golden named Goose! 

This is Goose as a puppy! I love this photo and it always brings a smile to my face :) 

I love traveling! I have been to Wisconsin ( of course!) Illinois, Minnesota  Kentucky  Michigan, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida and South Carolina. Most of these states I never spent much time in and drove through. BUT the real traveling and the amazing traveling I did were overseas! 

I went to Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Italy! Incredible and breathtaking! I loved every minute of being there and learning about new cultures and new ideas! I loved trying all the food and learning tons of history! I'm a big history buff! :)

This is one of my favorite pictures! This is from my first trip overseas! This was taken outside of Hitler's Eagles Nest! I loved the view and all the history! Germany was truly an incredible trip! 

This is another one of my favorite photos. This was taken on a bridge in Venice, Italy! Once again another incredible trip with so much history and TONS of amazing food ;) 

I love doing art projects or crafts in my free time. I love making scrap books, or making creative gifts for people for their birthdays, bridal showers, weddings, Christmas etc. I believe those special personalized gifts are the BEST! :) 

I also love cooking and baking. I love learning new recipes and trying them out. I personally love healthy cooking and substituting apple sauce. I also love walking, jogging, body pump, and spin classes! I love spinning! It is such a GREAT workout and an amazing stress reliever. 

This is my wonderful and amazing boyfriend with me after doing the color run last summer! It was so much fun! I cannot wait to do it again!!! 

And of course I love the Packers! Go Pack Go! I have been to at least one game a year for the past 4 years! :) And I love Clay Matthews :)
